i'd been sitting under the shade for a while, I'd just enjoyed my sandwhich and an Innocent thickie. this girl had wondered in and out several times, she kept coming back and looking at these pieces of graffiti.
I love graffiti. Sorry but I do. It's fucking cool. This one has survived a particularily long time. A few years. A lot of the time people come and tag over it.
This is right by the national gallery where everyone is skating and shit. And she keeps wondering in and out and I decided that I wanted a picture of this graffiti as my desktop. So I pull out my camera, choose my 28-108mm Canon lens and chose an ISO.
I was just setting up to take this picture when she walked back in again, and stood right in the middle of my picture, with a camera in her hand. I don't think she realised I was there at all.
And when she turned to take a picture of this wall herself, I knew I wanted to take a picture of it.
it was one of those moments, y'know? It was ironic, there I was waiting to take a picture of this kick ass piece of graffiti and I end up taking a picture of someone taking a picture of said graffiti. I loved it.
So, I have my new background. I had it in colour, but you lose the focus on the woman, the colours of the graffiti are too bright and powerful. Just looks like she's in the way, but she's the point of this photograph. She hurried off straight afterwards, so i didn't get a chance to say hi. Shame.
That's cute as! I love graff, too, it's such a part of the local culture in my area. Little tags on public property can get irritating but some of the boys are so talented. We even used to have a legal wall at my school...but the cops got rid of that, pretty unfair, I thought. Aw well, graffs sick, continue to share
Yeh, the problem with my screen is it's a bit small and it has XBlack, so whatever I see on my screen is how a proffessional printers would print it, but other people see it weird =/ and when i print it off it looks weird as well.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
